Description

The Creative Woodburner Value Pen is great for basic wood burning techniques and also makes an excellent encaustic painting tool.
For wood burning, use the four included points to create a variety of effects. There’s a universal point for basic techniques, a cone point for fine lines and dots, a shading point for even shading, and a flow point for curves and fine details.
For encaustic painting, use the pen with Enkaustikos Pen Points and Hot Brushes (sold separately). The tool maintains the molten state of the paint until you apply it to your substrate, allowing you the option to work slowly and meticulously or quickly and spontaneously. Because the temperature of the pen can exceed the melting point of encaustic paint, it must be used with a temperature regulator (also sold separately) to ensure the working temperature is maintained at 200°F.
Easy to hold and easy to use, the Creative Woodburner Value Pen heats to 950°F and is recommended for ages 14 and up. A stand and instructions are included.
