The Cigar Box is like having an entire art studio in the palm of your hand. Perfect for plein air painting, this diminutive pochade is crafted from lightweight basswood laminate for unparalleled portability. It weighs a mere 2.25 lbs and balances well on your lap, table, or tripod—the latter of which can be accommodated via the universal tripod mount on its underside.
Its hinged, 1/2" deep lid holds up to two 8" x 10" panels, or use the included extension clips to work on larger paintings. The lid opens a full 180° and can be locked at any angle you choose. The pochade’s main compartment offers storage space 1-1/2" deep, with a removable divider to help organize brushes, paints, or other art supplies. A sliding palette secures the storage space while providing a convenient surface for arranging and mixing your paints.
Carry your pochade with you wherever you go with the top handle, or attach your own shoulder strap to the integrated D rings for hands-free portability.
